Government Polytechnic, Sakoli, popularly known as GPS, is one of the foremost technological institute established by Government of Maharashtra in 1983 in the remote area of Maharashtra with the noble purpose of imparting quality technical education to the rural and weaker sections of society as well as to cater the needs of local industries and to open vistas of opportunities to the local talents.The Institute is governed by Higher & Technical Education Department, administered by Directorate of Technical Education, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to MSBTE, Mumbai. The institute is functioning with an intake capacity of 300 students in five diploma courses. These courses are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Technology.
