The Urban Lab provides professional services in place making, traffic and transport planning, urban planning, policy and urban management. It was formed in 2015 by a team of planners and urban designers with a vision to contribute towards 'Creating Liveable Cities'. The Urban Lab was conceived as a laboratory to explore, innovate and nurture ideas which lead to simple and workable solutions for improving mobility of the people.The Urban Lab's work is rooted in its core values of integrity, innovation and inspiration. The consultancy services range from detail design, estimation to project supervision. The Urban Lab is working on projects related to street design, parking policy, road network planning, intersection design, project management and public space design. It brings in the strength of research, advisory, consulting and capacity building.
