Dr. Talva Grundstrom Joost is family dentist serving Jefferson City and the surrounding counties with dental excellence. She credits growing up in a military family, where she learned that there is more than one way to accomplish a goal, as a big part of her success. She attended Oklahoma State University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Grundstrom Joost furthered her education at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated in 1986. She has proudly practiced in Jefferson City for 20 years, and has spent the last five years undergoing extensive training in implant dentistry. Dr. Grundstrom Joost believes that further education is fundamental to achieving her patients' complete satisfaction. She has studied at the Misch Institute, a leading educational center in the field of implant dentistry. She is one of a select group of dentists who practice emergency and hospital dentistry; she feels that this is an additional way she can serve the community.
