The Elk Grove Park District maintains approximately 473 acres, including 43 parks and a community athletic field that includes football, soccer and baseball fields, 19 public tennis courts and several facilities.Its premier facility is the Jack A. Claes Pavilion. The Pavilion community center amenities include a 28-foot Carousel, Jump n' Jiggles indoor playground, Pavilion Fitness Center, Garden Terrace banquet facility, arts and craft rooms, dance studios, racquetball courts, two gymnasiums, one outdoor and two indoor swimming pools.The Park District also operates the Sheila Ray Adult Center, Preschool, Rainbow Falls Waterpark & Community Center, Pirates' Cove Children's Theme Park, Fox Run Golf Course and Driving Range, and the Elk Grove Historical Museum.
