The Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) brings together professionals trained and registered to work as quantity surveyors in Kenya. The institute exists to advance the profession of quantity surveying by providing members with opportunities for professional development, and networking. It also serves other professionals in the building and construction industry and regulatory bodies by acting as the custodian of the interests of quantity surveyors in Kenya.IQSK began operations in 1994. Since then, the institute has grown to become one on of the most recognizable professional associations in Kenya. The Institute registers interested persons to be full or associate members. The day to day operations of the institute are undertaken by the council, and is supported by the IQSK Secretariat.
