The Kamloops Art Gallery is the principal Gallery for the visual arts in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. The Gallery is committed to the belief that art is an essential part of the human experience. It is dedicated to making this belief tangible within the communities it serves.The Kamloops Art Gallery has accepted responsibility for fostering enjoyment of and interest in the visual arts through the development and organization of programs that relate to, challenge, and educate its audiences.To these ends, the Gallery encourages participation in the visual arts through public programs, the research and development of exhibitions, the development of a permanent collection, publishing, and preservation of regional, national, and international art in all media.
