BSRV enhances the lives of people who are blind or vision impaired through sport and recreation. Providing a range of blind sports and active recreation programs for adults and children of all abilities, we aim to improve health and well-being and social inclusion.Some of the sports and recreation activities on offer include: blind golf, tennis, soccer, aquatics, ballet, judo, gymnastics, walking camps and the popular 'Walking with Willpower'.With more than 1,200 members, BSRV recruits, trains and supports adult volunteers of all ages, who provide much needed support and companionship to our members; acting as coaches, umpires, walking buddies and drivers.As the only recognised State Sporting Association for blind and vision impaired people by Sport and Recreation Victoria, BSRV lobbies government on all levels in relation to funding and services for people who are blind and vision impaired.
