Innovation Glass LLCVS-1 {Patent granted in 2014} is the first {r}evolutionary step in the aluminum curtain wall and window design since the 1950's. It's technical attributes respond to modern requirements of sustainability, exterior shading, solar energy systems and intelligent building skins that breathe by interfacing with building control systems. The VS-1 system uses a blade shaped mullion and cast aluminum fittings to support insulated or monolithic glass. This simple kit of parts offers designers an unprecedented level of flexibility while eliminating transoms and hardware from projecting into the vision plane. The refinement of system components is inspired by a Miesian approach to glass detailing-elimination of horizontals, all glass corners, zero sight line windows and point supported glass combine to allow the glass wall to be expressed in its purest form.
