Atlantic Sound Recording Studio (now Atlantic Sound Studios) was opened in 2003 by engineer Diko Shoturma and musician Matthew O'Neill. Having realized there was a lack of inspirational studio environments for artists in New York City, Diko and Matt saw an opportunity and embarked upon building their own recording studio. Atlantic Sound Recording Studio was designed and built from the ground up. Located in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY at the East River's edge, Diko & Matt maintained a philosophy of passionately producing the best possible sounding records.
