WCE at the University of Houston C. T. Bauer College of Business prepares students to assume leadership roles in the business world, teaching them how to run their own business from the inception of an idea through its implementation. As an extremely selective program, applicants go through an intense application process with a essays, a self-introduction video, and interviews. About 35-40 students are selected each year to participate in courses that focus on teaching the entire business process: Revenues, Costs, Capital, Entrepreneurial Perspectives, Business Plan and Implementation and an internship in their field of study. Students go through simulations about running a 3 day pop-up restaurant (Wolffest), business negotiations, industrial design & intellectual property business plans, and participate in the Prison Entrepreneurship Program.wce@uh.edu
