Multipay Congo is a Commercial Company created on the initiative of 4 banks: Banque Commerciale Du Congo, FBNBank, Equity Bank and Rawbank; with the aim of promoting the interoperability of electronic payment solutions issued by its members. Multipay Congo SA's mission is to study, set up, standardise, promote, supervise and develop interbank payment solutions. Beyond its mission, Multipay Congo SA aims to become the leader in the sector of interbank services related to electronic banking in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and to bring to the heart of Africa innovative and modern solutions intended to revolutionize the financial sector. Multipay Congo SA offers current members the first interbank payment service in the DRC. This service, officially launched in December 2015 under the name "Multipay"​ allows customers of a bank that is a member of the Multipay network to use their private and local bank cards on the terminals of other banks affiliated with the service. The network currently has more than 400 ATMs and more than 2,000 Electronic Payment Terminals (TPE) throughout the territory of the DRC, in cities in all. The services offered are: - Withdrawal of money and consultation of account balances at ATMs (ATMs), - Payment of purchases (without commission charges to the customer) on Electronic Payment Terminals (TPE), - Withdrawal money on the Electronic Payment Terminals (TPE) in the Branches of the Banks of the network, commonly called "Cash Advance."
