More precisely, it is based on a more than 20 year old one-man business operating mainly in the local taxi sector which became the leading taxi company in Dortmund over time. Inspired by the rapid changes in the German mobility market, CABDO was founded in 2017 in order to facilitate the digital booking as well as transportation via a mobile application. After setting the city of Dortmund in motion, CABDO expanded into Essen, Bochum & Hagen as well as became the first provider in the Ruhr Valley to offer on-demand online booking of electric vehicles for passenger transport.
