Delhi Poetry Festival, founded in 2013, is India's first independent standalone poetry festival that celebrates poetry across languages.In its 5 seasons so far, DPF has hosted an enviable list of literary as well as Bollywood celebrities like Ashok Vajpeyi, Naresh Saxena, Ashok Chakradhar, Madan Gopal Singh, Waseem Barelvi, Farhat Shahzad, William Dalrymple, Irshad Kamil, Divya Dutta, Atul Tiwari, Annu Kapoor, Sanjna Kapoor, Piyush MIshra, Prasoon Joshi, Muzaffar Ali, Swanand Kirkire, Kanwaljit Singh, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rekha Bhardwaj, Jassi, Javed Akhtar and many more.The last edition was held in collaboration with and at IIT Delhi.The Festival has also had its share of Corporate support from the likes of R P Sanjiv Goenka Group, Maruti Suzuki, PepsiCo, Reliance General Insurance, Tata Beverages, Harper Collins, Gionee Mobiles, PC Jewelers and others.The Festival has also been sponsored and supported by the Haryana State Government and Delhi State Government through their Art, Culture and Languages Ministry.
