Since 1988, the Delta Hospital Foundation has worked with the community to raise funds to support Delta Hospital. The Foundation raises the financial resources necessary to purchase much-needed equipment, state-of-the-art technologies, capital projects and building improvement, and fund education. The Foundation is made up of a board of respected community leaders, volunteers; and a professional staff of fundraisers and support services. The Foundation is dedicated to ensuring the best health care possible for our community. Since its creation and through generous support, almost $38 million has been raised towards updating medical equipment and facilities at Delta Hospital. Due to rapid advances in medical technology, equipment and facilities must be constantly updated to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services and medical treatments. The money we raise helps to make sure that the services provided at Delta Hospital are kept current with advanced equipment and modern facilities. The Foundation strives to ensure our community has close to home access to the highest quality health care services, which government funding alone does not provide. The Foundation continually works toward and is dedicated to meeting the challenges of limited health care budgets and increasing demands for services.
