Citizens for Global Solutions envisions a democratically governed world and works to build political will in the United States for international cooperation and democratic global institutions that establish peace, justice and sustainability under the rule of law. Our new strategic plan, adopted in 2016, reaffirms our historical commitment to federalist global governance and a commitment to reframe our advocacy to resonate with a new generation of Americans who are often skeptical of institutional solutions to global problems and who have less direct experience with the impact of global war. We will pursue selective legislative advocacy critical to advancing effective and democratic global governance, including both policy and educational innovations that support short-, medium-, and longer range goals, and engage members through organized chapters and national programs in designing and carrying out advocacy projects.
