Historically Black Colleges and University's (HBCU's) are successful in producing outstanding student-athletes and athletic programs and have made great strides for over 90 years. But during most of that time, schools were underrepresented in their coverage by the media. FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW is the only nationally syndicated sports talk show which places major emphasis on HBCU sports. The show talks all sports and has broadcast live from Radio Row at the Super Bowl and live from NBA All-Star Weekend. FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW was credentialed to cover the Super Bowl for the first time durig the Super Bowl in Tampa in 2009. The hour-long show ranges from previewing upcoming athletic events, discussing the hottest and sometimes controversial topics related to HBCU athletics and sports in general, to interviewing the most prominent sports figures and celebrities, to the fresh and sometimes controversial opinions from the host. The hour-long show began August 20, 2005 and is a year round show on radio and the Internet.
