In 2003, Knoxville-Knox County Metropolitan Commission awarded the 2003 Excellence Award to the Renaissance II in the Residential Development Category. In order to grow the business at a rate that is both challenging and manageable, the Renaissance Developments expanded its business line to the commercial arena by developing and marketing a professional office complex. In March 2007, the Renaissance Office Complex began leasing executive offices to various professional groups.
