In 1996, thirty-seven physicians had the foresight to understand that in an ever-changing healthcare environment, a large, independent physician group would be better positioned to provide high quality, cost-effective care to their patients. These physicians united to form Digestive Health Associates of Texas, P.A. (DHAT). Since inception, DHAT has grown to over 80 Board Certified physicians, including 6 Pediatric GI physicians.
