We have the travel bug and love to explore. We crave opportunities to "Roam The Globe"…! DOROTHY BEATON: Prior to joining the TPI team over 15 years ago, I was in the Canadian military, organizing military related travel for 16 years. While posted in Victoria with our navy, I sailed to many areas of the world, expanding my attraction to travel. Following a medical release, I knew what I wanted to do…and today I have the pleasure of doing just that full time! I travel as often as I can (not always as often as I'd like!) to increase my knowledge for our clients. While only one travel options, cruising is my favorite. I constantly participate in courses and attend conferences. I've obtained my Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) certification with Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors/Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and hold several major cruise line certifications – most notably my Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) and Master Cruise Counsellor (MCC) certifications from the Cruise Line International Association and am now enroute to my Elite Cruise Counsellor (ECC) certification as well. SHAUN MACLEAN: While perhaps a little newer in the industry, I've travelled to many destinations and have "roamed the globe" to US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands, and several Caribbean destinations. My background includes the federal IT field and the electronics industry, both front line and corporate human resources. I have completed specialist training with Disney, Sandals, Air Canada and many other hotel, resort and cruise line certifications and take all available opportunities to attend training, marketing events and conferences. Most recently, I attained my Certified Cruise Counsellor (CCC) and Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) certifications with the Cruise Line International Association. I love taking basic elements of a destination and making it an exceptional experience for our clients. So, pack your bags. It's time for an adventure!!
