Hope House For The Multiple-Handicapped, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides residential opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Greater Los Angeles area. We serve some of the most challenging individuals, functioning at various cognitive levels, ranging from moderate to profound mental retardation and mild to severe social/emotional disorders. Since 1963, Hope House has provided quality care in a home setting, where active treatment assists the individual in the attainment of skills for optimal self-direction and independence. Through unconditional support and positive motivation we help each person to become as self-sufficient as possible. We believe in the ability of each person to grow and develop regardless of his/her current capabilities. We provide Hope, Love and Care to those who need it most.
