EPIC prepares young people with disabilities to be actively engaged community leaders through education, leadership development and community service. EPIC works to build young leaders with ability through the following programs: EPIC Service Warriors is a one-year leadership development and community service program for youth with disabilities between the ages of 16-23. By creating the change they wish to see in the world the Service Warriors learn more about local communities and develop practical skills that will help them develop as leaders and pursue future goals. We believe that every young person has a Warrior within. EPIC Youth Support Groups - EPIC holds three monthly support groups for young adults with disabilities. EPIC Youth Night is a recreational and educational group. The LGBTQ group provides specific supports and education for young adults with disabilities that identify as LGBTQ. Alumni Group provides ongoing training for Service Warrior Alumni. EPIC Community Trianings provide individuals with and without disabilities with opportunities to explore topics such as disabilities, ableism, inclusion, self-empowerment, advocacy, and how to support youth with disabilities. EPIC's inclusive staff, including youth trainers, offers trainings to schools, nonprofits, youth groups and community programs throughout the Greater Boston Area.
