If you are interested in African politics, development, economics, anthropology, geography, history, religion, languages or the arts you will find it in the CAS teaching programme. All our courses are based on an inter-disciplinary approach. The aim of CAS is to give students the competence to analyse contemporary issues in African societies. We provide the students with a firm knowledge and understanding of what is happening on the ground in Africa. At a time when Africa is often seen as marginal in the global world we find it important to give students a chance to let African voices be heard and at the same time to place African issues firmly in their global context."
