Finance and Administrative Manager at Red Elephant Chocolate - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
Red Elephant Chocolate's sophisticated yet whimsical approach, premium products and ideal locations helped us become one of Wisconsin's leaders in handcrafted chocolates. Setting us apart are our artistic truffles, small-batch caramels, imaginative flavors and distinctive specialties, including "Theobroma" - the world's rarest chocolate - and the original "Big Cheese" cheddar truffle. Many ask, "What's with the name Red Elephant Chocolate?" There's a lot to it actually. Each word inspires the warm-and-fuzzies, the only thing that really matters… love. Red is what gives candy canes their lanes, fashions any old brandy into a Brandy Old Fashioned and makes a rose not just any rose, but one that demands a peck, a kiss or perhaps even a roll in the hay. Like an elephant, love is grand, genuine and undeniable. Most remarkable is that despite their strength and size, elephants depend most on the love of their family to survive. If love had a flavor, it would taste like chocolate. So, we became "Red Elephant Chocolate." In 2012, the first Red Elephant Chocolate opened its doors in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward just steps away from the thriving Public Market. Three years later, a second location - twice the size of the original - opened in the shadow of the State Capitol on Madison's State Street. As we move forward, our mission has never changed: love what we do, love who we do it for and always strive to provide "a chocolate experience you'll never forget."
