We are a team of highly experienced technology and financial services professionals, with a really strong reputation for designing, building and maintaining innovative solutions.Idea Group was formed way back in 1995 and for almost twenty years acted as an in-house technology team, creating clever institutional investment systems for Legal and General Investment Management that were capable of handling asset volumes that went from £7 billion to over £400 billion.Our experienced team bring a combination of complementary disciplines to ensure the right expertise is available to customers at the right time. We don't apply a "one size fits all" approach to customers; nor do we disengage once an appropriate solution has been identified. We recognise that as the industry evolves, so too must our solutions and we adopt an iterative approach to ensure that what we do continues to meet the needs of our customers.We now offer this knowledge to a much wider range of financial industry players, spanning investment fund, pension fund and hedge fund communities. Added to this is a deep experience of the fascinating world of automated financial communications through our roles as Chair of the ViaNova group (UK Pensions), Administrators of the SHarP group (Hedge funds) and authors of the first Australian fund automation documents.Our newest product is "Prodigy", a product management workflow system. The system allows product management teams, from whatever business sector, to take their product from idea to launch and beyond into an annual lifecycle in a structured and collaborative way. Management teams benefit from a single window across their entire product portfolio.
