A Positive Approach to Teen Health equips and empowers teens to make healthy choices though life skills, relationship and character building education. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that reaches seven counties throughout northwest Indiana. These counties include Lake, Porter, Laporte, Pulaski, Newton, Jasper, and Starke. A Positive Approach to Teen Health utilizes the whole person method of instruction, recognizing that our decisions affect each area of our lives. PATH encourages and equips teens to make healthy choices that combat risky behavior patterns. These choices affect them physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. A Positive Approach to Teen Health has reached over 120,000 students since 1993. We have in-school presentations, after school mentoring programs, parent programs, and community-wide events that encourage teens to make healthy choices. We educate teens on making healthy choices when it comes to drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancy prevention, bullying, goal setting and relationship violence. Our goal is for teens to have stronger more meaningful relationships, healthy futures, and successful ventures throughout their entire lives.
