Peck & Hale is a leading designer and manufacturer of a wide array of cargo securing systems and products, in business since 1946. We were founded by U.S. Navy Lt. Commander (Ret) Ken Peck, who invented an adjustable wire tiedown to prevent aircraft from going over-board during rough seas. Products designed and manufactured include web, wire and chain tiedown assemblies, slings, metal and synthetic nets, container securing Interbox Connectors from manual to fully automatic, container securing twistlocks, container and vehicle securing devices, quick release hooks, metal securing fittings attached to all types of vehicles, among other products. We serve all branches of domestic and international/NATO defense forces as well as the commercial intermodal transportation industries. We have full machining, assembly, welding and test capabilities, as well as an experienced Engineering staff with various advanced degrees. Our designs are validated analytically, including with Finite Element Analysis, and verified by test with our load testing machines with a tension testing capability up to 225,000 pounds. We produce 3-D printed products for evaluation and demonstration purposes. We manufacture our own or our Customer's designs.
