In 1995, Dan Kennedy the designer of Kennedy Cups showed the spill-proof container to a friend who said, "this would make a great drinking cup for the clients of occupational therapists". They were right! a simple yet specialized drinking cup can make it much easier for people with limited physical dexterity to drink on their own without aid. And so, in 1996 Providence Spill-proof Container was formed to bring the spill-proof Kennedy Cup to market. Since then we have continually introduced more Aids to Daily Living.
