hopkinsdesign is a design and architecture studio, based in London, that focuses on digital design and fabrication with a sensitivity to materials and traditional craft. Our approach to design is one of sculpture and poetics, bridging advanced design and manufacturing tools with craftsmanship. We sculpt landscapes, buildings and objects that hope to touch and connect people with the environment they live in. All pieces of work, from buildings to furniture, are made with the same precision and attention. Our work's success often is a result of forging a strong relationship and collaboration with our clients, understanding their personality and aspirations, whilst guiding them through the process of design, holistically from concept, to planning and construction. We pride ourselves on advancing the conversation of the role of craft in design, of the relationship between the built and natural environment. We constantly investigate, study and develop new approaches to design problems. We do this not only through our research within our office, but also academically; by teaching the younger generation how to design conscientiously and sustainably
