eCYBERMISSION is a web-based science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) competition for students in grades 6 through 9 students that promotes teamwork, self-discovery, and the real-life applications of STEM. Teams of 3 to 4 students, with the help of a Team Advisor, are challenged to explore how STEM works in their world to identify and work towards solutions to problems in their community. Teams compete virtually in state and regional competitions and in-person at the National Judging & Educational Event (NJ&EE) in June. Student prizes are awarded at the state, regional, and national levels by grade level. eCYBERMISSION volunteers assist on all aspects of the competition from recruiting students & team advisors, to mentoring students as they work on their projects, and finally in judging their projects.
