Portal To help government agencies around the world achieve high compliance with international and regional standards and guidelines. The portal will help assess Portal Readiness, Portal Standards Development, Portal Design & content Services. Standards and Guidelines would be based on United Nations electronic government readiness index and W3C. In my years setting up the United Arab Emirates electronic government program I have built up a network of contacts in the various government ministries that would be very interested in such a service. I have also enjoyed a close working relationship with the assessment body at the United nations and know their assessment criteria very well. The criteria is a set of conditions a portal is assessed against to reach an end score, easily programmable into an automated assessment algorithm much similar to that applied by SEO assessment tools found on the web. A sample of the assessment criteria is included in the initial project brief and FAQ's.
