Historywww.harvestfoundation.usThe concept of the Harvest Foundation was developed over several decades. It began with a family's philanthropic projects. Over time, these efforts were taken up by a corporation, though the projects were handled as separate charitable programs using donor advised funds. Finally, a decision was made to consolidate the programs under a private charitable foundation with a 501c3 determination from the IRS. This streamlined things, and provided several benefits in delivering the programs.Areas of EmphasisThe Foundation has primary interests in the following areas,Under-served educational infrastructurePrimary children's health supportPoverty alleviation programs.Micro-finance and entrepreneurial developmentPoverty alleviation through water managementDisaster reliefChristian purposesGeographic PresenceOur charitable interests are not restricted by political boundaries.
