Eddy Malave's Company Details
The Unison Orchestra is the brainchild of composer Laura Karpman. It was an immediate solution to keep musicians working and composers delivering in the face of a pandemic. Conductor Marin Alsop, composer Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum and engineer Lisa Liu have been developing a culture of education and support for our global music tribe. There are tons of "virtual orchestras" and remote recording isn't new, but we're in development with multiple inventors/tech wizards to level up. Our uniqueness comes from a Juilliard led leadership team that is focused on the quality of the production and musicianship. As musicians, our mission is to create a new paradigm to broaden our global network, raise the standards of tech and musicianship, and create a feeling of support and community.
