Since its establishment in 1923 on the west side of Chicago, PCR Machining, Inc. has expanded from the dedicated production of connecting rods to full service, single-source manufacturing of multiple custom components, including items such as compressor crankcases, blocks & heads. Our high-tech CNC machining centers run low to medium volume production lots in a variety of materials including alloy steels, grey & ductile iron, aluminum, brass & bronze. MasterCam CAD/CAM software is used to facilitate prototyping as well as in-house design and construction of fixtures. Additionally, we offer value-added services such as materials procurement, supply chain management, and complete turnkey solutions.PCR Machining, Inc. specializes in high-speed, precision CNC machining – milling, boring, drilling, tapping, and turning. We regularly hold precision tolerances to .0002". In addition, we also offer our expertise in the development of new product designs, reverse engineering of existing parts, and assistance with sub-assembly component sourcing.Our specialty is the custom manufacture of pump and engine components, such as but not limited to: connecting rods, crankcases, blocks, heads, and other metal components for OEM applications. We serve many local and national markets, including oil and natural gas, air and gas compressor, refrigeration, fluid power, agriculture, locomotive, and automotive aftermarket.We operate out of a single facility located in Broadview, IL, just west of Chicago. Our 18,250 sq ft building houses our office, production floor, quality control center, tool room, fixture shop, and shipping docks. Our machinery includes horizontal Toyoda CNC Machining Centers, MS horizontal Machining Centers, vertical Monarch CNC Machining Centers, and Blanchard Grinders.
