We're facing a global health and well-being crisis around the world. - 3,000 Australian's died in 2018 due to suicide- 300 Million people globally live with a mental illness. That's 1 in 5 Australians- 1 Billion people globally live with a disability- $20B spent in corporate absenteeism in Australia each year due to mental health concerns The state of our planet is growing ever-more precarious. We're on a mission to change that. A Sound Life (ASL) is Australia's first well-being charity inspiring people in need to improve their health and well-being with free yoga, music and meditation programs. Since inception we have made it our priority to service facilities and communities who are largely underfunded and who otherwise would not have access to the healing power of music, yoga and meditation. Our programs deliver these unique complementary therapeutic services free of charge for people who need it most. We believe everyone has a right to self-empowerment: realising their full potential and optimising their emotional and physical wellbeing.Through community and corporate support, more than 300 volunteers have delivered 2,500 programs across 50 facilities serving 35,000 people since 2015. But there's still many more people to serve.
