Lakeside Neurologic, a rehabilitation continuum of care community, consists of a Skilled Nursing Facility, an adult Transitional Living Facility and a Pediatric Transitional Living Facility designed for people who have sustained brain, spinal cord and other types of injury or illness. Treatment programs are client-specific and can consist of modalities including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, Vocational Training, Mental Health Counselling and Leisure Training. Our Skilled Nursing Facility provides a full spectrum of skilled nursing and respiratory treatment including wound care, IV administration, tracheostomy and ventilator weaning, Total Parenteral Nutrition, as well as rehabilitative therapy services.Pediatric and Adult programs are developed with the goals of the client and family in mind. We feel that education is a core component of rehabilitative treatment and strive to provide the client and family with tools that they can use after discharge.Our idyllic Central Florida campus has lakes and wildlife to enjoy during your stay and is a short distance from Tampa and Orlando travel hubs.
