WATER'S EDGE provides fluvial geomorphology, natural channel design and water resources engineering services to government, agency and land development clientele. The company's senior staff have completed numerous projects over the past 20 years, locally and internationally. These projects range from baseline monitoring studies and Class Environmental Assessments to local bank stabilization and full-scale design projects. Water's Edge offers a strong package of research and practical, applied services to our clients. Most projects, simply because of their unique nature, require research prior to applications of design criteria. Water's Edge takes this research-based approach to all projects to ensure that assessments and designs are specific to each project, and are not cut-and-paste solutions from other situations. It is our method to take a natural science approach to assessments and designs in order to ensure a properly-functioning system which will remain stable in years to come. Our staff are committed to an integrated, multi-disciplinary design approach utilizing an Adaptive Environmental Management framework. Staff have worked extensively with aquatic and terrestrial biologists, engineers, landscape architects, planners and economists in determining appropriate design solutions and management options for our river systems.
