Metkinen Chemistry focuses on research and manufacture of reagents for RNA and DNA synthesis. We have expert knowledge of nucleoside chemistry, synthesis of various modified nucleoside and non-nucleoside phosphoramidites and solid supports. Reagents for oligosynthesis product line include our Truly Universal solid support, demonstrating particularly good result in RNA synthesis, Chemical Phosphorylation Reagent, various Dye Phosphoramidites along with a number of Dye Azides (Click and CATAPAZ chemistries, see below) for oligonucleotide labeling, as well as Trimer (codon & anticodon) Phosphoramidites for protein mutagenesis. Besides, we provide customer synthesis of randomized Trimer-based Oligonucleotide Libraries for Protein Engineering.Today the efforts of Metkinen Chemistry are also concentrated on our extensive line of purine nucleosides. Ultra-pure purine nucleoside analogs are used for the development of oligonucleotide therapeutics and in research applications. Metkinen Chemistry also produces a wide range of modified purine nucleoside 5'-triphoshates.Metkinen Chemistry also pays attention on development of new technologies and methods. For example, our new technology CATAPAZ is valuable addition to various methods of click chemistry. Our novel approach is convenient and efficient method to carbamoylate various nucleophilic functions and thus conjugate various molecules of interest. CATAPAZ is expanding the synthetic availability for various classes of carbamoyl derivatives. We also demonstrated that CATAPAZ works well with modified solid surfaces and polymers that have nucleophilic functional groups.
