Having so many seniors in the state of Indiana creates a "growing marketplace for those who may be looking to take advantage of vulnerable adults," according to Chris Naylor with the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council. In response, the Indiana Council Against Senior Exploitation (IN-CASE) was established. It is our mission to empower Indiana communities to prevent and end senior exploitation and abuse. We will achieve this mission through education, encouragement, and empowerment. IN-CASE founding members first joined forces in 2016 as an informal networking group. Today, we are a statewide Council of various stakeholders, which includes government agencies, law enforcement, not-for-profits, medical providers, and legal providers.
