Phoenix Community Coffee is a nonprofit coffee roasting organization that imports coffee directly from Latin America, roasts the beans in their facility, and private labels, or "brands", the packaging for schools, nonprofits, and relief efforts in order help their partners generate financial support. The coffee imported is purchased at an ethical wage from the coffee farms in order to promote economic sustainability in these coffee growing regions as well as provide margin for generous wages for the migrant picker who gathers the beans. The vision of Phoenix Community Coffee is to be a source of relief in the community and to partner with groups that are impacting lives. A few community relief efforts they partner with include ending homelessness in Atlanta, stopping the commercial exploitation of children, providing resources for widows and orphans, and much more. They believe that through empowering individuals to direct their resources towards the areas of life they are passionate, each person can be a part of making an impact, both locally and globally. By drinking Phoenix Community Coffee, consumers are able to partner with three Great Causes. First, the development and socially just treatment of coffee growers throughout the world. Second, of relief and support to a global community. Third, and most relevant to the consumer, the mission of the partnering organization. A coffee company, providing relief to a global community.
