No Lost Generation at The George Washington University (NLG GWU) is an Elliott School organization dedicated to advocating for refugees. We work to support those affected by global refugee crises and are particularly concerned with increasing access to education for displaced and refugee youth. Our organization is the first collegiate chapter to support the global No Lost Generation Initiative, which was founded at the George Washington University by UNICEF and the U.S. State Department in September of 2015. We meet weekly as an organization for general body meetings, and regularly host professional and community-building events, connect students to volunteer and professional opportunities, advocate for pro-refugee rights legislation, and more.
