The core of our program is built around American Kenpo Karate. It's a stand-up, multiple attacker system with a progression of defensive techniques and forms that will help you get stronger, faster, and quicker. Put a new student next to a Brown or Black Belt and you'll have no problem spotting the difference - advanced students move in a confident, relaxed, and powerful manner. Training in American Kenpo Karate can get you there.Combat Systema is the next major pillar of our program. Based on Russian martial arts, it includes no forms or defensive techniques. It is, rather, a system that will unlock the internal power of the body and relieve the body of tension that drains your power and weakens your defenses. It's a system of breathing and moving that meshes perfectly with the more formal American Kenpo Karate system.Finally, we're introducing C.O.B.R.A. Self Defense this year. Combining experience in law enforcement, close quarter combat techniques, martial arts & the psychology of criminal intent, the C.O.B.R.A. self defense program is a 10 week academy designed to be highly effective in real world situations where your survival is on the line. It's just one more way of taking our training off the mat and into the real world. It's a standalone program that will help you develop skills quickly, but it's also a good way to stick your toe in the water and see if you want to continue your training.
