We are a mindfulness based psychotherapy practice in Libertyville. We have expert practice in behavioral health treatment modalities of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mind-Body therapy. Our diverse staff of experts specialize in integrating care with the use of Neurofeedback, Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness & Meditation training to help prevent and treat client's emotional health concerns. Our clients typically experience stress, anxiety, depression and other ailments such as OCD, ADD, and chronic pain. We use advanced, innovative brain science techniques to teach clients how to quiet the noise and create inner calm so they can go about their lives with more ease.Research over the past decade suggests that mindfulness meditation significantly improves psychological and physical health. Calm Minds is a full-service behavioral health center that offers individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Dr. Chandler founded Calm Minds in 2000 after recognizing the value of mindfulness training in her psychology practice. In January 2014, Dr. Chandler expanded the practice and opened its doors to offer more therapeutic services to help manage anxiety and stress, improve mood, and promote restful sleep. Calm Minds is pleased to offer Yoga Therapy, Neurofeedback, Mindfulness and Meditation training in additional to traditional counseling. We have a tranquil studio space adjacent to our offices for the use of our mind-body therapies and meditation training.
