Craft Company No.6 is a unique gallery housed in a Victorian Era firehouse, with a selection of handmade jewelry, home décor and gifts you cannot find anywhere else in the world. The foundation of our store centers on carrying the finest works by American and Canadian artists from California to Nova Scotia. The talents of these artists range from various processes of fine woodworking, welding, pottery and ceramics to glass manipulation, fine jewelry, recycled art and leatherworking. Built in 1888, Engine Company No.6, housed in Firehouse No.6, used horse-drawn steam engines and was important during the "Era of the Horses" from 1886 to 1921. After consolidating its resources, the Rochester Fire Department decommissioned the building in the mid-20th century.
