Marsha's Music is a licensed center for Music Together, the international, research-based early childhood music and movement program, originating in Princeton, New Jersey in 1987. We provide parent/child classes (0-5 years), preschool classes (0-5 years), and a drop-off class for older children (5-7 years). Our classes are filled with musical content, a buffet of tonalities, rhythms, and styles; the children learn through immersion and participation according to their own interests and temperament as well as developmental level; we develop community through adult participation and modeling so that the children are a part of a musical family; and the music goes home (with the aid of artistically conceived songbooks and CDs) and becomes part of their family life. We also provide ukulele lessons and facilitate music for family events.
