Chiltern Music Therapy is an award-winning Community Interest Company that provides a music therapy service to people of all ages. Our Music Therapists are qualified with a Masters in Music Therapy, are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and the national body the British Association for Music Therapy.We pride ourselves on using evidence based practice and are dedicated to providing measurable and tangible outcomes for all client groups. At the heart of our work is our aim to provide an inclusive service, that is accessible to all.We provide one to one, group and day services in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and London as well as day services nationwide for schools, care homes, in-patient units, hospitals and hospices.Chiltern Music Therapy offers a Children and Young People's service and Adult and Older Peoples' service to those with Learning Disabilities, including Autism and Asperger's, Brain injury, Dementia, Mental-health and emotional difficulties, stroke & Parkinson's disease sufferers and those with life-threatening illnesses. We also offer specialist expertise in Neurologic Music Therapy and Medical Music Therapy programmes through our brain injury and neuro-disability service and our acute neonatal and paediatric service.We work with people to help them improve their health and emotional well being and develop skills in speech & communication, emotional & behavioural issues, cognition and motor skills.We also provide music, singing and ensemble sessions for the general public through our Music for All and Music Business Schemes. We believe that everyone should have access to the treatment and therapeutic support of their choice, regardless of ability, disability or financial means.
