Northern Colorado Hospitalists, LLC began providing hospitalist services at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins Colorado in 2004 and at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland in 2007.We are an independent, locally run hospitalist program comprised of Internal Medicine, board certified physicians. In addition, we have a team of dedicated hospitalist nurses who work directly with us. Our role is to provide inpatient medical care at our hospitals. We provide on site medical admissions, consultations and CODE Blue coverage 24 hours a day. Our physicians are actively involved with the medical staff and serve on multiple committees and at various levels of hospital staff leadership. In addition, we have developed system wide protocols, participated in quality improvement initiatives and have help establish best practices in inpatient care.
