Eolo is a 44 MW Wind Farm comprised of 22 X 2.0MW Gamesa G90 Wind Turbine Generators. All generated power is dispatched to local grid and distributed by DISNORTE/DISSUR, to Nicaraguan consumers. Eolo started operating in December of 2012 and has been registered as a CDM project, generating approximately 113,000 CERs per year. Environment and Occupational Health and Safety are key aspects to our company, therefore we have seeked a certification on our Integrated Management System, based on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Eolo has been certified since april 2014, and we currently work on maintaining and improving this system.
