The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) is a non-profit, non-political organization. Our members are comprised of medical professionals of Syrian descent.\\Objectives of SAMS encompass an array of professional, educational, humanitarian, and cultural activities. SAMS organizes an annual medical convention in Syria in order to enhance the medical expertise of our members, contributing to the Syrian medical profession and supporting the continuing medical education. SAMS affords its members the unique opportunity to bring the technologies of Western medicine to Syria while benefiting from the richness of our Syrian heritage.\\SAMS also encourages and provides medical care to needy patients, in North America, of Syrian descent. We organize donations of medicine and medical supplies to underprivileged families in Syria and North America. Through our efforts, SAMS enables professional relationships between its members and medical organizations in North America and Syria, creating lasting and invaluable relationships.
