Emiliana Design Studio was founded in the late 90s by Ana Mir and Emili Padrós after graduating from the Master in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins School of Arts and Design in London. The studio develops, in parallel and quite naturally, product design projects and creative direction for companies, together with the design of exhibitions and installations for museums and institutions, the design of limited editions of objects and conceptual and experimental projects. The relevance of the concept in the creative process, the investigation into the historical, social and cultural context, the search for a poetic gesture, curiosity and an eternal capacity to be surprised, are the engines of a study that since its inception has been working with generosity and enthusiasm in projects of very different scale and nature. The studio has always been actively involved in cultural and collaborative projects of a social nature, with the aim of improving people's quality of life, as well as in training and teaching design to new generations in national and foreign schools and universities.
