She died from it before the disease was even diagnosed."Hunger and fear of fat torture me..." Such single and plain line written by this poet still remains in the memory and heart of many women.- Our Mission:a) Create awareness in Mexico about eating disordersb) Provide the best holistic and multidisciplinary treatment to people who have eating disorders, regardless of their financial means.- Our Objectives:a) To offer authorized information about eating disorders to Mexicansb) Design and implement programs to: Prevent eating disorders, train treatment specialists through the Ellen West model (integrating psychoanalytical therapy with a cognitive behavioural approach).c) Create a volunteer network to support our activitiesd) Raise funds for patients that lack the resources to pay for their treatment
